Medical history before stem cell treatment:

Mr. Li suffered from a stroke four years ago. He had difficulties walking or standing by himself. He could not walk a significant distance. He could not move his right hand or his right leg. His speech was impaired, causing him to speak slowly. A year of rehabilitation after the stroke, Mr. Li had no improvement in either his speech or his mobility.

In the full understanding of his medical history, Dr. Wu and his medical team gave him a combination of neurotrophic factors and medicines to stimulate the production of neural stem cells in the hypothalamus. (self stem cell activation treatment).

After treatment:

After the first month of his treatment, Mr. Li was able to move his right hand but not yet open it. After the second month of his treatment, he was able to open his hand as well. He could walk 20 steps without help, and walk in a straight line.  His speech has slightly improved. Mr. Li says he can think more clearly - and his friends tell him he no longer appears ill, that he looks healthier.
