Kubra Alibhai-Cerebral hemorrhage sequela-(UK)

Name: Kubra Alibhai

Sex: Female

Country: UK

Age: 64

Diagnosis: Cerebral hemorrhage sequela

Pre-treatment:

Kubra was presented with the inability to speak, unconsciousness, and was unable to sit up. The movement in all four limbs decreased, without an obvious cause. She was sent to a local hospital and received a CT scan. She was diagnosed with a cerebral hemorrhage and received appropriate treatment. Three weeks later, Kubra regained consciousness. She was able to recognize her family members and understand what they were saying, however she could not express herself to them. She could only eat pureed food. The movement on the right side of her body had improved from before, however the limbs were still weak, especially the left limbs. Kubra started having involuntary shaking in her upper right limb, and eventually there was involuntary shaking in all four of her limbs and her neck. She received treatment; however there were no real improvements to her condition. She was presented with recurring urinary infections, occurring 3 times. Three months ago, Kubra no longer had to use a gastric tube for feeding, but is still required to use a gastrostomy tube.

Kubra did some research about our hospital on the internet, and learned how stem cell treatment could help with cerebral hemorrhage sequela disease. After consulting with her doctor, she made the decision to come to our hospital for treatment.

Admission PE:

The muscle tension of the upper right limb was slightly higher than normal; the muscle strength was level 3. The muscle tension of both lower limbs was higher than normal, the muscle strength of the lower left limb was level 2-, and the muscle strength of the lower right limb was level 2+. The tendon reflexes of both upper limbs was normal, the tendon reflexes of both lower limbs was abnormal. There was diminished deep sensation on the left side of the body.

Treatment:

Kubra received all of the relevant examinations. She was given treatment in order to expand the blood vessels, decrease the muscle tone, regulate the brain's neurotransmitters, and nourish the neurons. We also activated the neural stem cells. This was combined with physical rehabilitation training.

Post-treatment:

Kubra's overall condition has shown improvement. Her mental condition is good and her language expression is better than before. The strength of the trunk and lumbar spinal cord has had some increase and she can now sit up without support. The muscle tension of the left limbs has obviously declined and the fingers of the left hand have good flexibility and movement. The lower left limb now has the patellar reflex.

At present, Kubra has gone home to England. We all believe her condition will continue to improve and the entire staff hopes her future is very bright.
