Before treatment:
The patient had static tremor in both hands 4 years ago, his right hand was worse than the left one and he went to a local hospital and his symptoms indicated Parkinson's Disease. He took Sinemet and his condition got better at the beginning but then got worse again. 2 years ago he moved slowly and it was hard for him to walk, he was unable to take off his clothes, write or walk well. 18 months ago he again went to a local hospital again and was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. He took Sinemet, Entacapone and Rasagiline to control his condition and at present he can walk and stand by himself and he can take care of himself partly.
His spirit is normal and he has regular sleep and diet. He can’t control his urination well and urinates 2-3 times at night, his defecation function is normal. He has had Coronary Heart Disease for many years and did coronary stent surgery 5 years ago.

Admission PE:
Bp: 125/70mmHg, Hr: 56/min, breathing rate: 19/min, body temperature: 36.3 degrees. Height: 180cm, weight: 93Kg. Patient has normal physical development and the nutrition status is good. There is no injury or bleeding spots of his skin and mucosa, there was congestion of the throat. Chest development is normal, the lungs breathing sounds were clear with no rales, The heart beat was powerful with regular cardiac rhythm and no murmur in the valve areas. The abdomen was bulging, with no masses or tenderness, liver and spleen were normal, shifting dullness was negative and there was no edema in his legs.

Nervous System Examination:
Patient was alert and had clear and slow speech while the voice was lower than normal. His mental status was good. His memory, calculation and orientation abilities are normal. Both pupils were equal in size and round, diameter of 3.0 mm, react well to light, the eye balls can move freely and there was no nystagmus. The bilateral forehead wrinkle and nasolabial groove are symmetrical, he can show his teeth normally, could make his tongue extend out as normal and the soft palate can lift normally. There was static tremor of his hands. His neck was soft, he could shrug and turn his neck powerfully. The right arm muscle power was 4+ degrees, left arm muscle power was 5- degrees, the hands grip force was 5 degrees. There was mild Wax-Waning Sign. The leg muscle power was 4- degrees and the muscle tone was basically normal. The biceps reflex of the arms and radial periosteal reflex were normal. The  patellar tendon reflex in the legs was decreased, the bilateral palm-jaw reflex was positive. The bilateral Rossilimo sign, Hoffmann sign and Babinski sign were positive. Sensory examinations were normal. The finger opposite movement and heel-knee-tibia test were normal, the finger to nose test was stable, fast alternate movement was slightly clumsy and the meningeal irritation sign was negative.

After the admission he received 3 nerve regeneration treatments (neural stem cells and mesenchymal stem cells) to repair his damaged nerves, replace dead nerves, nourish nerves (gangliosides and neurotrophic factors), improve body environment, regulate his immune system and improve blood circulation. This was combined with rehabilitation training.     

After 14 days treatment he could speak louder and clearer, the muscle power of his four limbs was increased, there was less static tremor in both hands, his hands could do fine movement better and he now wrote better. He can take steps much easier, on the right leg he can now stand alone for a much longer time at around 10s, on the left leg can stand for 5s. He can turn round with much more flexibility than before and he can control his body posture coping with objects in front of him when he is walking. He now urinated less in the daytime  and 1-2 times at night.
