Ahn Sangkyu-Parkinson Disease-(Korea)

Before treatment:  
The patient felt weak in in his left side limbs 12 years ago. He also had involuntary trembling and it was hard for him to walk. 8 years ago he had less facial expression and spoke unclearly. 5 years ago he felt weak and had involuntary trembling in his right side limbs. Then 3 years ago it was hard for him to move his neck so he went to a local hospital and was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. For now, he feels weak in the four limbs, there is involuntary trembling in his whole body, he has less facial expression, speaks unclearly and slowly. He can walk and stand by himself but he walks in an unstable way.
His spirit is normal, his diet and sleep are bad. He urinates 3-4 times each night and he has constipation.

Admission PE:
Bp: 116/82mmHg, Hr: 76/min, breathing rate was 18/min, body temperature: 36.9. height 184cm, weight 64Kg. There was no skin damage or bleeding spots, no  blausucht and there was pharyngeal hyperemia. His chest development was normal,  the respiratory sounds in both lungs were clear and there was no dry or moist rales. The heart beat is powerful with regular cardiac rhythm and no obvious murmur in the valves. The abdomen was soft and flat with no masses or tenderness. His liver and spleen cannot be examined by touch, shifting dullness was negative. There was no edema of the legs.

Nervous System Examination:
Patient was alert and his mental status was fine, with slow slurred speech and a low voice. He could cooperate with the examinations of the memory, calculation and orientation ability. The pupils were equal in size and round, diameter of 3.0 mm, react well to light and the eyeballs can move freely, there was no nystagmus. The forehead wrinkle and nasolabial groove are symmetrical, he could open his mouth and show teeth as normal. He can make his tongue extend out normally and the soft palate could lift normally. Patient's neck was soft, he could turn his neck and shrug well, but he had frequency neck torsion. The muscle power of the left arm was 5- degrees, right arm and lower leg muscle power was 5 degrees, the muscle tone was normal. The arm biceps reflex, radial periosteal reflex and leg patellar tendon reflex were lower than normal. The bilateral palm-jaw reflex, Rossilimo sign, Hoffmann sign and right right side Babinski sign were all negative and the sensory examination was normal. His finger opposite test and his heel-knee-tibia test were normal whilst the finger to nose test was not very stable. The fast alternate movement was clumsy, his Meningeal irritation sign was negative.

Treatment:
After the admission he received 3  nerve regeneration treatments (neural stem cells and mesenchymal stem cells) to repair his damaged nerves, replace dead nerves with new injected stem cells, nourish nerves, regulate his immune system and improve blood circulation. This was done with rehabilitation training.     

Post-treatment:
After 13 days treatment his sleep quality got better, the 4 limbs and neck torsion reduced, his balance control was much better when he was walking and he now he walked faster and better.
