Before treatment:
In April 2010, Gerardo felt pain in the right lumbosacral region and right hip joint, so he received surgery. When he woke up from the anesthetic, he felt sensory deprivation in the perineal region, his penis was unable to get erect and he had urinary and fecal incontinence. He was diagnosed with pudendal nerve injury. His urination and bowel movements were normal 1 month later. The skin sensation improved 60% 3 months later. At present, his perineum sensation is weak, his penile erection is normal and he is able to have sex normally, but the sensation is still decreased..
His mood was good, his appetite, sleep, urination and defecation were normal.

Admission PE:
Bp: 128/75mmHg; Hr: 82/min. Temperature: 36.7 degrees. Height: 181cm, weight: 97.5 Kg. Good nutritional status, normal physical development. There is no injury, stains or petechia on the skin or mucous, no pharyngeal hyperaemia, no tonsil swelling. The chest is normal, the breathing sounds of both lungs are clear, no rales. The heart rhythm is regular with no murmur. The abdomen is soft, with no pressing pain or rebound tenderness, no mass touched by examination. The liver and spleen are normal by touch examination. Shifting dullness is negative. Gerardo has normal curvature of the vertebral column. There is no edema in the lower limbs.

Nervous System Examination:
Gerardo is alert, his mental status is good, clear speech, his calculation ability, memory, orientation ability are normal. Both pupils are equal in size and round, their diameter is 3 mm, and both respond well to light. The visual field of both sides is normal. There is no nystagmus. The forehead wrinkle pattern and nasolabial fold are symmetrical. The teeth were shown without deflection. The examination results of the tongue are normal. There is no atrophy in the tongue muscle. The uvula is centered in the oral cavity. The neck can move freely and the shoulders can shrug powerfully. The muscle power of all four limbs is 5 degrees. The tendon reflex is normal. The abdominal reflex was not induced by examination. The palm-jaw reflex of both sides was negative. The Hoffmann sign was negative. The bilateral Babinski sign was negative. The ankle clonus on both sides was negative. There was obvious hypaesthesia of the perineum area. There was around a 3*10cm skin hypaesthesia on the lateral side of the right lower limb, downward from the lateral side of the anterior superior spine, others were normal. The finger-to-nose test was fast and stable.. The f alternate movement was normal. The finger opposing examination was normal. The heel-knee-tibia test of the left side was negative. The meningeal irritation sign is negative.

Treatment:
After the admission, Gerardo was diagnosed with Pudendal Nerve Injury so the doctors administered 2 neural stem cell injections and 2 mesenchymal stem cell injections to initiate nerve replacement and repair,, and also to activate the stem cells in his body, improve his blood circulation, nourish the neurons and regulate his immune system. We also gave him daily physical rehabilitation.            

Post-treatment:
After 8 days of treatment, the perineal region was more sensitive. There was obvious abdominal reflexes and cremasteric reflexes. Both his energy and physical strength were improved.
