Before treatment:
When Endel was 1 and half years old, his parents found his language development was delayed, he could only speak a few words. He was unable to speak sentences and made very little eye contact. It was hard for him to do fine movements. He was diagnosed with autism when he was 2 years old. His cognitive abilities were impaired and he didn’t comprehend things well. His calculation abilities were poor. His attention span was short. His reaction was bad when he saw strangers. He would sometimes hit himself with his own hands. He was taken to the hospital in 2012 and he was diagnosed with autism and aphasia. He began to do language, motor and fine movement rehabilitation training when he was 2 years old. At present, he is able to speak some simple words such as papa, mama, house, sleep and water. He is unable to speak sentences, he can count numbers from 1-15 with the assistance of others. He doesn’t know how to do addition or subtraction. He understands simple commands. His fingers are unable to do fine movements very well, it is difficult for him to button his clothes, use a knife or write. He can only write his name.
His was hyperactive. He seldom talked with others. His diet, urination and defecation were regular. He slept well.

Admission PE:
Bp: 110/56mmHg; Hr: 77/min. Br: 20/min. Weight: 51kg, height: 157cm. Endel’s body type and nutrition were normal. There was no respiration in the base of the lungs. There were no dry or moist rales. The rhythm of the heartbeat was abnormal but strong. There was no obvious murmur in the valves. The abdomen was soft and flat with no pressing pain or rebound tenderness. The liver and spleen were normal.

Nervous System Examination:
Endel Rodriguez was alert and he was in good spirits. He didn’t like to talk with others, but if someone said hello to him he would answer. He couldn’t cooperate with the examination of the memory or orientation abilities, His comprehension, attention span, cooperation and judgment were bad and he could only speak a few simple words, such as mama, papa, house, sleep and water, but he was not able to speak in complete sentences. He could count numbers, from 1-15 with guiding. He was not able to do addition or subtraction, he could understand simple commands. He was overactive, sometimes he waved his arms. It was difficult for him to button his clothes, use a knife, fork or write. He could only write his name. Both pupils were equal in size and round, the diameter was 3.0ms. Both pupils were sensitive to light stimulus. Both eyeballs had flexible movement. There was no nystagmus. The forehead wrinkle pattern was symmetrical. The bilateral nasolabial sulcus was equal in depth. The tongue was centered in the oral cavity with no teeth deflection. There were no muscle tremors in the tongue. He was able to raise his soft palate powerfully. He was able to turn his head and shrug his shoulders powerfully and symmetrically. The muscle power of all four limbs was at level 5, his muscle tension was normal. His tendon reflex and abdominal reflexes were normal. The bilateral Hoffmann sign, Babinski sign, sucking reflex, palm jaw reflex and lower jaw reflex were negative. He couldn’t cooperate with the examination of the sensory system or coordinated movements. There were no signs of meningeal irritation.

Treatment:
After the admission, Endel was diagnosed with 1. Autism 2. Aphasia. He received 3 neural stem cell injections and 3 mesenchymal stem cell injections to nourish his neurons, improve blood circulation, and control his mood. This was accompanied with physical rehabilitation.        

Post-treatment:
After 15 days of treatment, Endel Rodriguez’s condition was better. He had less aggressive behaviour. His attention span, learning skills and language ability were improved. He could speak clearer and speak more words. He could understand commands better and his hands were more flexible to do fine movements.
